
WESTLAKE, OH — A 31-year-old driver rear-finished a car and then attempted to push away from the incident, in accordance to law enforcement.
On Dec. 19, at 6:30 p.m., a driver identified as 911 in Westlake and mentioned her vehicle experienced been strike by a white Buick. The automobile did not prevent and was driving absent, so the caller followed the Buick until law enforcement caught up.
The Buick ran a crimson light at Dover and Heart Ridge roadways just before officers pulled it over, according to a Westlake law enforcement spokesperson.
The Buick’s driver was a 31-12 months-old girl from Lorain. She instructed law enforcement she imagined she was in Avon. There was an open up bottle of vodka on the floor of the auto and the female appeared intoxicated, law enforcement explained.
Law enforcement took the lady into custody. At Westlake Jail, she took a breath test and was above the legal restrict, police said. The 31-calendar year-old is accused of functioning a motor vehicle impaired and leaving the scene of a car or truck incident.
The 31-12 months-outdated was later produced to a sober relative, police claimed.
