Rickshaw touches low-lying HT wire, 5 out of 7 charred to death

Tirupati: In a tragic yet horrific incident of a vehicle-rickshaw coming in contact with a lower-lying high-tension electricity line, 5 out of 7 persons have been charred to loss of life.

The incident documented on Thursday, happened at Chillakondaiahpalli of Thadimarri mandal in Sri Satya Sai district.

Reports advise that there ended up 6 farm labourers and a driver.

As for every the resources, the roof leading of the rickshaw touched the reduced-lying large-pressure wire and straight away caught fireplace. Driver and a lady labourer managed to jump out of the rickshaw, but sustained major injuries. The relaxation of the 5 could not control to escape and have been charred to death. Equally the survivors had been rushed to the nearby hospital, in which, just one of them is claimed to be crucial.

The police and the fireplace personnel rushed to the place to douse the fire. The police are however to determine the bodies.

In the meantime, Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed his condolences in the direction of the deceased and the hurt. He has declared reduction quantity of Rs 10 lakhs every to the family of the deceased and Rs 2 lakhs in the direction of the hurt.
