Man, 32, dies after car hits lamppost in Penkridge

Police were being named at 7.45pm on Saturday to Pottal Pool Road, in Penkridge, following reviews of a 1-car or truck crash.

Officers attended and a black Honda Civic was found to have strike a lamppost.

The Staffordshire Hearth and Rescue Support also attended the scene, as did ambulance crews.

A 32-year-outdated man, the driver and sole occupant of the motor vehicle, was pronounced dead by paramedics a brief time later.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Support reported: “We ended up called at 7:44pm on Saturday to reviews of a solitary auto RTC at the junction of Employees Street and the A34 in Penkridge.

“We despatched two ambulances, two paramedic officers, the HART crew.

“Crews arrived to come across the driver of the vehicle, a male.
