Greenbrier man killed in I-65 crash after vehicle hits parked car

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Greenbrier person has died following a crash that happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 early Monday morning.

The crash transpired just prior to 2 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 65. In accordance to Goodlettsville law enforcement, a vehicle ran out of gas and pulled in excess of to the shoulder to park. Officials say the driver and a different occupant remaining the motor vehicle to go get gas although yet another occupant stayed in the backseat of the car.  

Officers say although the other two occupants had been gone yet another car touring northbound on Interstate 65 veered off the roadway into the shoulder and rear-finished the parked motor vehicle flipping it upside down and killing the human being within on the backseat.  

Goodlettsville law enforcement discovered Samuel Moss, 25, of Greenbrier as the person who was killed in the crash. According to Goodlettsville police, the other driver was transported to a neighborhood clinic wherever they have been addressed and released.

Officers have acquired a research warrant for a blood sample and the investigation stays ongoing.
