“Wilco sustained a concussion and a fractured vertebrae. Andreas sustained damaged vertebrae in the cervical and thoracic backbone.
“For both riders, we are aiming for conservative cure.”
Rudiger Selig, Marcus Burghardt, Anton Palzer, Maximilian Schachmann and Michael Schwarzmann ended up the other riders knocked down by the car.
