PUNE: 4 faculty students died right after the auto they ended up travelling in strike a stationary truck at Gahunje village on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway all-around 3.30pm on Saturday.

The vehicle was heading in direction of Mumbai from Pune. The Shirgaon law enforcement determined the deceased as Shivam Rahul Kokate (19) of Sadashiv Peth, Priyam Satyendra Rathi (20) of Narayan Peth, Hrishikesh Manoj Shinde (21) of Bibvewadi and Mohnish Sangam Vishwakarma (20) of Dhankawdi.
Sub-inspector Balwant Gavit of the Shirgaon law enforcement chowkey explained, “The vehicle was travelling at a high speed. Its driver lost manage more than the wheel and the motor vehicle strike the stationary truck from the rear.”
Deceased students’ kin didn’t know about their system: Police
The mothers and fathers or any other kinfolk of the university pupils killed in the incident on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway on Saturday were being in the dim about their outing plan.
Sub-inspector Balwant Gavit of the Shirgaon law enforcement chowkey said, “We spoke to their kinfolk and it was unveiled that the pupils experienced not educated their mom and dad or other relations on where by they were being heading and for what explanation. Prima facie it is suspected that they ended up heading to Lonavla-Khandala for an outing.”
The four deceased pupils – Shivam Rahul Kokate (19) of Sadashiv Peth, Priyam Satyendra Rathi (20) of Narayan Peth, Hrishikesh Manoj Shinde (21) of Bibvewadi and Mohnish Sangam Vishwakarma (20) of Dhankawdi – were being identified motionless and bleeding in the vehicle, soon after it rammed a stationary truck at Gahunje village on the expressway all-around 3.30pm. All of them suffered critical head injuries in the incident.
Gavit claimed, “Shinde, whose father owns the motor vehicle, was driving it. He is a college student of a university on Tilak Road, even though the other a few researched in a school on Karve Street in Deccan”.
He claimed, “The truck associated in the accident was heading to Mumbai from Pune. It produced a complex snag. Its driver pulled the vehicle to the intense end of the provider lane and halted there. He had taken more than enough safety measures even though halting the truck on the services lane.”
Gavit reported, “Immediately after analysing the accident place, it was unveiled that the car or truck driver misplaced command about the wheel. It then swerved into the provider lane and crashed into the stationary truck. We are recording statements of the kin of the deceased students.”
The law enforcement summoned a heavy-responsibility crane to the location to separate the car’s wreckage from the truck.
